@samsapti recommends Cinny :)
Wondering if having cinny.testing.data.coop running as an experiment would make it possible to get more informed about its potential? We shouldn't self-host a million different clients, so my main question is if Cinny is actually better than Element in enough aspects to also make it a better default web client.
Just to add: Cinny is available as a desktop program as well. And it's NOT built with Electron! :D
@benjaoming in my experience, it has a much simpler/more minimal UI. It runs more smoothly/faster than Element, but currently has a couple bugs, one regarding notifications on Linux (the desktop app), and another one regarding messages not marked as read from other clients. Otherwise it's a very nice, clean and polished Matrix client.
