Automatiserede signups er et problem på Gitea. Codeberg har løst det ved at ændre signup siden fra /user/sign_up til /user/sing_up.

Gitea understøtter ikke invites - men her er en kreativ løsning med en HTTP proxy foran, som gør at man kan køre via et mere hemmeligt link med en slags pseudo-token:
